Default Proof I am not obsessed with SMith & Wesson revolvers

1. I have not purchased a Smith & Wesson Revolver since May 26, 2011.

2. 1-800-331-0852 is only the 3rd number on my speed dial.

3. I can still remember each of my kids’ names.

4. After several years of marriage counseling I have been able to almost completely forgive my wife for not letting us take our honeymoon in Springfield, Massachusetts.

5. When driving from New Jersey to visit my family in Boston I do not hesitate to drive through Hartford, Connecticut.

6. Although I have not spoken to them recently, some of my best friends have revolvers that were not made by Smith & Wesson.

7. My therapist has convinced me that even though my parents did not name me either Horace or Daniel I can still lead a productive life.

8. I waited at least 12 seconds before hitting the “Buy It Now” button to purchase my 1955 five inch .357 Magnum.

9. Less than two thirds of my hard drive is filled with pictures of my Smith & Wesson revolvers.

10. I only sold two of my four irreplaceable antique trap guns to finance the purchase of Smith & Wesson revolvers.

11. Two of the grips in my Tyler T Grip collection are not for Smith & Wesson revolvers.

12. I once considered bidding on a Colt revolver.

13. My spam filter allows messages from persons not members of the Smith & Wesson Forum.

14. I occasionally visit the revolver websites Forums not devoted Smith & Wesson's.

Default We've all...

...seen and heard these empty words from addicts.

Since I'm not a psychiatrist, I don't play one on television, and I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night, it's my considered professional opinion that you should 'fess up to your addiction. I've seen many of your ilk; all in denial.

I fear, that not even a twelve-step program, nor a stay at the Betty Ford Clinic, would do you any good at all.

Just keep telling yourself (in vain, of course) - "I can quit any time I like. No I don't need that pre-Model 29, or that registered .357 Magnum with the box, tools, and documents."

I guess I do need help. I did spend my honeymoon in Springfield! This was in 1989 and I still hear about it!

Blasphemy!
Just say "No thing of importance can be done without effort" five times and shoot 18 rounds, and you'll be good.

Have you tried "satiation therapy"? No? Try this. Take your favorite revolver(s) to the range along with as much ammunition as you can carry. Bring along a lunch. Go early in the AM. Now shoot as long as you're physically able to pull the trigger. According to the "experts" you'll never want to look at another gun. Let us know how that works out.P.S. If it does, you have plenty of friends who will take those guns off your hands, to prevent a relapse of course.

I'm not convinced, you didn't say anything about your S&W tattoo.
