Update on Bear
My husband is not warming up to him at all and due to some tension...I've had to place an ad to rehome him. Bear, not the Mr. I figured this would be the case when I first brought him home, but hoped it would not be so.
No one has inquired though.

I really hate to hear this. Give the rescue people "Deadaye" gave a link to a call--they'll work hard to find a good home.
I can't imagine somebody not liking that dog.

trying to place him through personal connections before it comes to taking him to any shelter or rescue org. at least the mr is supportive that the dog was mistreated and needs to find a real home.
