WooHoo!! Numrich has .45ACP half moon clips available!!!
I don't know about the rest of you but I've been looking for half moon clips for a while and they've been rare as hen's teeth. Well, I was looking around the web again today and found that Numrich Arms has them available for $1.60pr + S&H. I ordered 20pr and it came to $39.50 total.
So, if you've got a 1917 or a M25 and you're wanting half moon clips get them while you can!! Here's the link-
Half Moon Clips, .45 ACP (Pair)

I guess I'm lucky.
We have frequent gun shows here in NE Floriduh and one of the vendors that is always present selling ammo, targets, cleaning supplies and such has steel moon clips for .50 each.
Every show I buy another 5 or 10 bucks worth. Lost track of how many I have now. Probally pushing 200 as I shoot about 5 different .45 moon-clipped guns.
Guess I should have long ago asked for a quantity discount!

You have a lot of trust ordering anything from Numrich. I've never gotten anything that was right from those folks, yet.

sjmjax, I'm guessing your dealer is selling "full-moon" clips. They are easily available, and fairly cheap.
Half-moon clips - the things the 1917 was designed to use. Holds 3 rounds, not 6. They are kinda hard to find, since most folks like the full moons better.

I've ordered a number of items, some quite obscure, from Numrich and have yet to have a problem.
As Alpo said, full moon clips are easy to find and inexpensive, but half moons have been eluding me for some time. The loaded full moons are rather bulky in a pocket so I've been wanting to try the halves. I'm thinking about trying to find a holster maker that could make a double dump pouch that would hold two half moons in each pouch. Wouldn't be as fast as a full moon but much slimmer on the belt.

You're right. I missed the "half" part of your post on the first read. Thought the price per pair was high.
Don't often see half-moons around here either.
