Default Next week: Fix your gun week! (or guns, as the case may be)

Do you have a couple of guns around the house that "Just ain't quite right?" Maybe a piece broken so it doesn't work quite right, or some little screw missing, or perhaps it needs a complete overhaul and restoration...

After the 4th...on the 5th- resolve yourself to get those "shelf keepers" back running.

I know...I've got a couple...er..maybe there or so more of those "projects" that I've either bought over the years or tinkered with and hasn't been right since. I've got a Browning buck mark that has some worn out trigger parts and won't fire- that's the first one on the list. I haven't shot it in nearly two years because of the problem. Then to a Stevens 23A, and the list goes on...

I resolve myself to fix all the problems on my wallflower pieces next week. Or at least, one or two.

I have a pair.

Short term fix is a Winchester Model 12. I took it apart to do some touch-up work and, like a genius, put the ejector back in before the bolt. Locked that puppy up good. Pretty sure that's a gunsmith fix.

Long-term is a sporterized Long Branch No.4 Enfield that's being built into...something else. Functions okay and all the pieces went back together, but...it's ugly. I want to make it a different kind of ugly.
