Default Hi-Point 9mm Pistols Back At Bud's For $147.00.

I know a lot of people don't like them and please, lets not turn this into an anti Hi-Point pistol thread.

I've been looking for one for a long time just to have a knock around 9mm. They've been almost non-existent and sell out as soon as one appears somewhere. My FFL even searched all his sources and couldn't come up with one for me.

I happened to go on Bud's Gun Shop site today and there they were for $147.00 INCLUDING a holster!

This is a bargain for me as I don't have to pay sales tax and Bud's ships for free.

I just wanted to alert anyone who has been searching for one like I have.

I thought little of them until I saw the youtube video of some guys at a gun shop who got one with the trigger guard cut off, so they decided to blow it up. They tried and tried and couldn't stop it from shooting (including hammering a bolt into the barrel) until they used a C-Clamp to force an overpressure.

I still wouldn't want one for daily carry, etc. But I was thinking of picking up a few of them to use as hideaway guns (truck/car, toolbox, and a few spots around the house). Why not? Cheap and would only have to run once in an emergency. They look like they'd be reliable enough for that purpose. Just coat it with dry lube, load it, and tuck it away in your hidey spot.
