Default New family member

I wanted to introduce everyone to our new addition. Her name is Kyra and she is a rescue from the humane society. She is 10 months old and the vet says she's healthy as can be. She was a stray. I guess you'd have to say a terrier/beagle mix. We had to put our border collie down a year ago so we were ready.

I wonder how long it will be before "Kyra" has you trained?

Good looking dog! I'll bet a dollar she's got some Jack Russell in her lineage.

Another thumb up for the rescue. The beagle in her really shows. You won't know about the Jack Russell until you see her vertical leap.

Nice lookin dog. Bet she'll be a great pet.

My inherited Mexican wolfhound (chihuahua) bailed on me a month or so ago, so I been thinkin' on it, too.

(Phil, I'd keep an eye on that Pugster, tho. Bet he does the doggie internet thing late at night when he thinks no one's watchin'... )

Nice dog. BTW...a terrier/beagle mix is a good dog and will calm down and come when called after a short training period of about 8 years

Thanks again for saving a dogs' life. I have always rescued dogs, and never regretted it minute-well maybe just a minute after the Black Lab ate my leather couch..........

Thumbs up

Every dog I have ever had came from a shelter and they have all been wonderful friends. That's a handsome pup you have there and she should provide you many years of love and friendship...Good job
