Default Keeping it cool in a GMC

Heads up if you own a '04 of so Chevy or GMC truck.

I just received a letter from GMC about my '04.It seems as the relay resistor module and the connector can't handle the current levels for long periods of time. That means no fan.

I've seen it on my last two 2500 work trucks but not my street truck. My 1500 only has 44,000 and I don't drive it far.Yet on the work trucks it happened with less than 50k.When I do drive far its highway miles so it gets forced air.The work trucks idle a lot on hot summer days and I expect that has something to do with the problem.

If you've had this problem they will fix it or make good on your previous repair.

I'm good for 10 years or 150,000 miles which ever comes first,at this rate I guess I gotta get out more.
