Well, pay $30 if you can. That seems the wisest counsel that I can give. 
Seriously,, I'd want more like $300 for mine, and then only if I thought I could replace it for a lot less. Which might take some serious shopping...

I think the $300 price may be for the original and not the later edition.

I would go to Amazon.com and run their prices. I bought mine new for $20 and recently bought one for a friend as a gift for $17. Both were still wrapped in the cellophane.

And Amazon will "letter" the book for only 20 bucks more. But it's kind of a waste since they email you when it ships....
