Default An All Star Day

Took my little girl shopping today for sneakers...she loves the classics....has them in black and white but wanted a navy blue pair to match her school uniform...and when she saw the gray one on the shelf, she told me I had to have a pair...I must say, I like 'em too..just wondering how they will work with my ankle holster.......

When I was her age the ultimate tennis shoe to have were Converse Chuck Taylors. Alas, my parent's budget was PF Flyers or Keds or whatever Sears had on sale.

Yes, that means I'm old.

I couldn't tell you a thing about those sneakers but that girl of yours is a sweetie. I bet she has got you wrapped around her little finger. Don

If your sneakers slip and slide, get the ones with the Star on the side.

The HS basketball coach & wife were friends of dad & mom so when he ordered Converse all stars for the team every year me and my two brothers would benefit. Course they only came in black or white.
Nice Sip!

Like my dad used to say, "You give that child anything she wants!" What a sweetie!

I remember when you got a new pair of All Stars--there was something wonderful about the smell of the new canvas and rubber--I recall sticking my face down in the box and breathing it in--it smells like getting ready for summer camp!

Daughters always seem to have their daddy's wrapped around their little fingers. They look at you with those big puppy eyes and how can you say no?

Says the man with three of them... Me and Jeff Foxworthy. Living in the estrogen ocean.

FYI...They have a custom program where you can design your own "Chucks"

You can even get them in purple animal print with your choice of stitching colors and a custom monogram on the back.

The fact I have a 14 year old princess may have something to do with my vast tennis shoe knowledge.

Sip... that's a sweet daughter you have there. I'd be willing to bet she has a pretty special Dad, too. My baby girl is 33 and she can have anything she wants from me!

Great to see Con's haven't changed that much from we bought them 35 years ago. About $6 or $8 bucks back then I think.
