We survived the week.
You know it's been a tough week when it starts off with an earthquake...then goes downhill.
We had an earthquake, a thunderstorm, and a hurricane.
The thunderstorm did the most damage.
I was disapointed. Not one news crew showed up to interview us.

Wait for the Volcano next week and an invasion fo Zombies the week after. BTW, those Zombies are currently in DC but they'll start walking your way tomorrow.

Zombies!!!  Geeze, I broke my sandbags down already! (On Virginia's forgotton eastern shore, lost one pear tree and no power for one 4 hour block and one 6 hour block, not too bad compared to what I was thinking!!)

That is a good thing...did you see the couple from Alexandria? A tree fell on their Volvo...wife was on TV saying how she told her husband to move it before they left for dinner...and he forgot to ....bet the insurance people are gonna have a field day with that one

There wasn't much damage in the area of NJ I am in. The storm was really hyped on tv. I was really hoping for anarchy. I had planned on looting and scoring a big screen tv and a blu ray. It hurts that I wasn't able to "redistribute the wealth".

Now the insurance company's will start raising the rates by 50% or greater to cover their losses and some might even move out of the state like they did here in Mississippi.

Glad to hear there was so little damage relative to what it could have been. It just goes to show God takes care of little children and Smith & Wesson owners! Come to think of it, maybe little children should be all inclusive.

Have you SEEN the people they interview after an earthquake, tornado or hurricane??? Trust me, if they want to interview you, it is 'cause you married your sister, have 2 of your own teeth and can't speak in intelligible sentences....consider yourself 'unnewsworthy", an proud of it

I know what you mean. Easter 2006 I was in NE Afghanistan. I woke up to snow, which turned to rain. The day ended with an earthquake.
