We also have Charter Spectrum and the speed is very consistent around these numbers.

Ping 11ms

Upload 12mbps
That is pretty much average for our wifi.

City folks. Here in the bushes I'm lucky to get 9 and a half gig upload speed. It's all CenturyLink provides this far out.
We get by. The wife and I are both on our laptops and the TV is streaming off the wifi router without hiccups.
How much do you need, anyhow?

I don't understand how some of your speeds are that high.
I have Verizon wifi and my speeds are dl...1.07 mpbs and upl is .68.
Are any of your services limited to a total monthly data use? I am at 12gb per month and I can blow through that real quick if I am not careful.
I can't get ATT or cable because they aren't available here. I have heard nothing but complaints on satellite internet and many of them run through Hughes Net which I heard really sucks for data usage limits before cutting you off till the next day.

I am amazed at some of those speeds. Century Link tells me I am paying for 12mbps. I usually hey 11.5to 12.5, but a couple of times a week it will drop to 1-4mbps. Upload speed is around 1.5 Mbps.
This is consistent with the generally ****** service provided by Century Link.

I'm in the DFW area, and have Frontier FIOS:
Ping: 6ms
Download: 48 Mbps (supposed to be 75 Mbps )
Upload: 88 Mbps (supposed to be 75 Mbps , except I rarely upload anything)

I get around 70 down, 12 or so up. A great site to check speed is speedof.me. Works on computers and cell phones without an app, and keeps a history of your speed for you.

Have Comcast. Just dropped my speed from over 100 mps to 50. Saving about $30 a month by doing so. Speed test just showed 66 mps download and 6 upload.
Since we lowered our plan we haven't noticed a drop in performance at all.
So......Do you really need all that speed?

Mine claims to be 100 down/3 up. Usually get 85-95 down and a bit better than 3 up. It's fast enough to do what needs to be done. The danged AT&T T1 line at work is painfully slow by comparison.

I use a certain satellite service, previously mentioned.
No other game in town, to speak of.
I typically run 1-3 Mbps.
Wife and I work from home, and that's awful.
But, we don't have a choice.
No cell service to speak of either, so Verizon and ATT are out.
Furthermore, They failed to mention that VOIP and VPN are not supported. That's a major problem! Make note, those of you that think you'll work from home using that unnamed satellite ISP.
