On Interstate 80 just west of the Central Time Zone and 65 miles east of Cabela's World Center in Sidney, NE is the town of Brule, NE. Population about 409 Nebraska Football fans and one grumpy old lady.
Driving east or west on I 80 look for the little trailer/bill board in the corn fields..."Brule Gun Show Next Exit".
Cost is $3.00 for both days, free parking, lots of guns, very little flea market junque. Lunch provided on site by a troop of ladies who in real life operate a professional catering service. Different full meals available fresh each day for about $6.50 which includes the meal and a soda pop, coffee, iced tea or bottled water...on a real plate. Home made pie and coffee/tea is $2.00 after lunch. Best chow I have ever had or seen at a show. No mystery meat weenies or burgers.
Located at the Civic Center (old elementary school) at the end of the road into town.
If you are in the area come in and say HI. Debbie and I will be right in front of the stage as you enter the basket ball gym.
