MA. Compliant WOW! HELP?
Haven't bought a gun in over 20 yrs.I had a 24-4 44 cal. sold it.Now i want to purchase one it's almost tripled in price,used.I can't buy it in MA.It's not on the list: http://www.mass.gov/Eeops/docs/chsb/...er_06-2011.pdf
The only way to own again is individual sale in MA. ONLY.Unbelievable!! The ghetto's have more firepower now.Who voted these moron's in? This is were or country's independence started and looks like it's trying to end? BS IN MA.! Is their any loopholes i'm missing? HELP!!

You mean with s&w makeing the gun in mass, cant sell that gun in mass? You said 24-4, dont you mean a 23-3?

The particular gun was made around 1985.If it's not on the list out of luck.That will drive the gun price threw the roof.Can only purchase in state grandfathered.It was made special for a gun store called lew horton.2 calibers 44 special and mag.

There was a LH 24-3.
Good luck finding one of those, I would like one also if you happen to find 2.

Yes that's the one.Lew had stainless 44 mag.s also.Can't buy either out of state.FRIGGEN BEAUTIFUL.

Yeah the other option is to use the C and R laws to bring guns in hence why theres so many WW2 guns poping in and the law states that unless the firearms company is out of business for 20 odd years you can only bring in 50 year old guns, IE circa 1961
so in 7 years I can bring in a 1968 Walther PPK from texas for a couple hundred bucks rather than a 1,100 from earls repair shop or a beat up colt python for 500 bucks.

The 24-3 was a 44 special and the 29-3 was a 44 mag.Both blue.SW has a brand new ss 44 mag. 2" barrel can't own that ether. Anyone from MA. want to sell one of these? UPDATE: A fcc holder gave me the wrong info. I can purchase this after tracking down the guy i sold my 24-3 to in 02 ,he said no problem to buy again!! Very happy!!
