Another Farmers Market flee market...I mean gun show
What a waste of $8. I'm glad I didn't spend $75 for a table. It did resemble a flee market more than a gun show. I won't bad mouth the promoters, but it seems to me that they should try to limit the carnival stuff. I did pick up a bag of Georgia Arms 41 Mag semi-wad cutters (800 fps) for my M57, but there were no good hand guns to be seen, or long guns for that matter. Oh well.

I'm beginning to think there is no other kind. I would love to attend one of the big time "real gun shows" but I'm not willing to travel out of state to do so.

So come to Oklahoma on vacation, and time it to coincide with the big show. The next one is Nov. 12-13. WANENMACHER'S TULSA ARMS SHOW!! World's Largest Gun Show! It's also a great opportunity to meet lots of forum members. Bring your walkin' shoes and plan on Monday and Tuesday as days of recovery.

I thought the same thing when Uncle Sam sent me there.I was surprised at what I all found to do and the people were nice and knew how to make you feel right at home. One in a while I miss it there.

According to my calendar OGCA had a show this weekend. How was it? I am a member, but I can't always make it there.

I'm glad to see "Retired W4" understands it's a flee market. NOT a flea market!
That has always annoyed me, when people spell it "flea market".My wife says I'm just a onery old fart, and everything annoys me. (She's right)
Oklahoma? Never been there. Wouldn't mind going some day.

We used to have a great gunshow in Kalifornia. Pomona, Great Western gun shows. Miles and miles and miles of the good stuff. Sadly the State and LA county forced them out. I remember it clearly "We don't want that kind of activity here" Just sucks.......................................................

I have written off the GA Farmers MArket Gun shows also. Buddy called Sat and wanted to know if I was going. Think he wanted to go with me. Told him it was not worth going, that we would go the the one the next week or two. Sunday morning found me with nothing to do, so I went to the show, it's not too far from the house. Didn't see a single gun worth even looking at, one model 10 there and one model 29, I'm a little picky. I did pick up a set of Pach grippers for my recent 41 Redhawk purchase, $10. Also a set of Pach grippers for a recent 28-2 shooter, $12. Ga Arms had some CCI 22LR seconds $6.95 for loose pack of 200. I'll find out Monday how they shoot. And the guy cooking ribs on the big red smoker on the north side of the buidling behind the food stand smelled and looked great.

Went to the Big Town gunshow yesterday to see one of the new Ruger .22s. Didn't see one, but I thought I was at a very large garage sale.

I guess you've never been flea bitten at a flee mart? Itchy ankles are a symptom.
