Default Walking in....

I will be walking into a Vous over Columbus day weekend. Going early, staying late...5 days. I will go as my persona... Isaac Pease. We, together will do something unique. We will hunt, gather, and make camp with no modern convenience.

In short, on our own hook.

He and I are looking forward to this. Been a long time in the making.

I will start this trek, at Isaac's grave.

I appreciate the invite, giz, but, to be honest, I'm way too modern and.... ummm.... well.... lazy, for an adventure like that. I'll have to sit this one out and live it vicariously through your pictures and stories.

Besides, the town folk are expecting me to be on the job protecting their marine resources. Can't say no to the job!

How about some pics and text as to what you'll be packing before the trip?Might help you get ready and be entertaining to us all.
Sounds like a great journey to me.

Stay safe Isaac,

If my math is correct Issac was 95 when he passed away. That's a very old age for that time period.

Sounds like you are going to have a fun trip!

Would you be kind enough to "interpret" what exactly you are doing, for those of us that have no idea?? I Googled and can not come up with what it is?

I will not be using a vehicle to get there. I will be dropped off and trek through to the campsite. What I bring for shelter, my food, my cookware, etc. Will be in my kit. My gun, ballbag, and shooting supplies will be with me, as I go to compete. I will bring a possible bag for my other essentials.

I grasped that, but what event, celebration is this or reenactment of what?

Footwear? Must you wear period correct? That would be my biggest concern. If my feet ain't happy, nothing else will matter. Joe
