Smile Columbus Day...What's Cooking?

We were trying decide on what to have tonight, Italian or traditional American fare, to acknowledge the Holiday. What's cooking at your place?

Cheers;

Made tuna salad in case I decide to go grouse hunting this afternoon.
Probably have it with some home grown tomatoes with some pepper and olive oil on them.

Since he's pretty much been discredited for discovering America I'm serving Spaghetti with Peking Duck sauce since Italy is no longer credited with inventing pasta either.

No, nine months after Father's Day is LABOR day...

Actually, since it's Canadian Thanksgiving (second Monday in October) my sister-in-law is going all out. Turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes, gravy, the works. All the usual suspects plus I have no idea how many kinds of pie. Plus homemade ice cream. Can't have pie without homemade ice cream...

Only problem is she and my brother live over a thousand miles away...

Waaaahhh! *sniff, sniff*
