"American Guns"
Any of you guys watch the new "American Guns" show on Discovery Network tonight? Thoughts?
I liked it pretty well, family business, interesting mix of guns, gun store, gun haggling, and gun smithing. Owner seems like a decent guy, with plenty of ego, but not in an ugly way. Nice family, especially his wife and daughter... . Speaking of his daughter, how old do you think she is? I want to be sure I'm not out of line looking at her... If she is too young, she needs some different outfits!
Anyway, I think it's worth checking out, interesting show.

Nope. Watched "Son's of Anarchy". A couple of recruits played a little "russian roulette" with a Model 15 snubby. That was pretty cool.
Too many "reality" shows on TV already. I think I'll skip that one.
f.t.
p.s. She's 16.

I watched the show and liked it. Much better IMHO than the Showtime show or the one about Red Jacket.
Don't worry too much about ogling the hot teenage daughter.
Apparently the dad is okay with her clothing and uses it to a marketing advantage.

I watched it last night, and it was ok. I like seeing some of the rare and oddball guns people bring in. I had to laugh when they were fitting up the knuckle duster. The cylinder wouldn't fit. When they showed it you could see it had not yet been deburred, duh...

The Discovery page that shows the video of Gunsmoke..... The lady talking to and shaking the hand of the son is a good friend of mine.

Do some research on Mr. Wyatt, bit of a checkered past, spins a good tale. King of self promotion. Not that we don't get a second chance & perhaps he's changed but surprised all those other folks can fit in the same building with him & his ego. I also knew his ex-wife, don't know the current one or her kids.
I was there the day of the bike show, I would say that some of the activity is a bit staged solely for the cameras....I know, I know it's only a tv "reality show".

Ho hum, I wasn't that impressed, and don't think I'll be watching anymore. The wife & daughter are sure dressing for TV and titillation, but I wasn't overly impressed, I'll pass...

Just another terrible "reality" show, IMO. The guy's pimping out his wife and daughter for ratings...

That makes it even more disgusting.... FWIW, she was walking around in public rockin' booty shorts and a C&L 1911. Not sure what the laws are where ever they are, but if she's old enough to dress like a whore and OC she's old enough to be ogled.

We're drooling over the daughter who is a high school senior
I don't care. No harm in looking.
I think all these reality shows are somewhat staged.
Look at Junior vs. Senior as a good example.

Oh yea, very staged.
As a red blooded male in his mid 20's I enjoy a good looking woman as much as anyone, but I find the fact that the media shoves sex down our throats at every turn to be annoying to say the least.
Sign of the times I guess...

SO he was married to a Rebecca before? I only knew that cause it was mentioned in the other thread on this new series. So he's 1 & the same? I've recently renewed my interest in guns (meaning now I'm not so broke & can start, & have been, buyin guns again).
A good gun show would be sweet. So, while this guy may possess talent (I missed the show, had to watch LIONS go to 5-0) ...it means more if talent & credibility are intertwined. Call me crazy.
