Bud-are you looking for a club to join or a public range. I have several friends that are members of the Ben Lomand (sp?) gun club which is east of you. You can google the club I think they have a pretty decent web site. There are a few public ranges in the Denver and Springs areas. You may want to join the CO-AR15.com site. One of their forums in places to shoot and lists most of the shooting spots in Colorado. Welcome to the state. Please dont tell people how nice the weather is here.

If you are in Denver you can visit the "Firing Line", they have a nice indoor range as well as a full line gun shop with lots of new and used toys for sale. Better to not go on a weekend if you want to shoot as there is usually a waiting line. There is also an outdoor range in Cherry Creek Reservoir park, have handgun and rifle firing points, and a informal trap range. There is a indoor range with a 100 yd range (underground) in Lakewood, can't remember the name. Colorado Springs is the home of the Olympic training center with a fabulous indoor range, but not sure if open to the public. There is also a trap and skeet range there. Yellow pages should list all.
