Default Inherited CTG 32, looking for info on the weapon

Hey, I don't know much about guns, just inherited this one from my grandpa. It is in pretty bad conditions.
Inherited CTG 32, looking for info on the weapon-2013-05-01-15-58-38-jpg

It was shiped to Brazil, serial number is 30257.

I would like to know if it would be in firing conditions after a restoration. Also, is firing good or bad for such an old gun?

Would also like to know the price range (not planning to sell it tho) and fabricantion date.

Thanks in advance

Welcome to the Forum.

IMHO, your revolver was not built by Smith & Wesson. It is probably a Spanish copy. Value would be around $100.

Some of these revolvers are built out of soft metal and aren't safe to shoot.

Your gun, as Muley Gil has said, is not a S&W. It is most likely a Spanish copy from the 1920s. The square logo on the frame is the most obvious, but there are numerous other subtle details that point to a counterfeit.
