George Soros buying gun companies?

Had lunch today with a couple of my S&W cronies. One of the guys asked if I had heard anything about George Soros buying up all the gun companies! I had not heard anything about this. Supposedly he has already bought Marlin, Remington, Bushmaster, and about 10 or 12 other companies! Have any of you heard anything about this? Thank you! Hope it's not true...

Call me a skeptic, but I don't believe everything I read on Snopes. There's a lot of spinning going on on certain topics.

My Experience....

has been that most rumors are based on fact. I would not be surprised at all & he definitely has the finances to pull it off. My .02

You are correct but the folks he has helped put in power with his money will be here to haunt the US for years to come! You should not depend on "Snopes" as the final answer either!

George Soros aside, too many eggs in too few baskets is never a good thing in the long term.
