I had a USPS MO get lost in the mail so the seller said. I really did not believe him but it took over three months to get my money back and I had to pay some fees to the PO for investigating it. It was only $50. I am glad it was not 7 or 8 hundred. That is the only time I have ever had a issue with the PO. I would say that is a pretty good record. Don

PS Their MO's are cheap and I like that.

Default Counterfeit MOs

The USPS is one of the, if not the hardest MOs to counterfeit. That's the only form of payment I'll accept on gun-related items.

I've been using postal money orders for a long time for anything gun related . It gives you a little more protection from mail fraud.

I've really got to want an item to put up with making a trip to the post office. No way I'll pay for grips or accessories that way. Has to be something several hundred dollars or more and then I generally get an official bank check. On smaller purchases I offer my personal check and encourage the seller to wait until it clears before shipment. If that isn't good enough, I pass.

Last time I was at the post off to get a MO I had to beat several E Bay ladies with my cane. I would rather swim a raging river full of crocodiles than go to the post office.
