Default Patriot Guard

I recieved a contact this morning that one of our local mortuarys has asked the PGR to assist in the burial of 83 homeless Veterans. It will be an escort from the mortuary to Jefferson Barracks National Cemetary and a service in the Chapel.

Staging will be at 1:00 pm 10 Nov 11 at Hoffmeister South County Chapel in Lemay, MO. (1515 Lemay Ferry Road, St, Louis, MO 63125)

Kick stands up at 1:45.

These are very sad affairs. There will be no family, and usually we are all that are there. You don't have to ride a Harley, or hell, even a bike. There's no membership required, you don't even have to be a Veteran.

I thought some of you would like to know. I'll be the jughead on the copper and black tricycle.

Its a bit of a ride for me as winter is setting in here. Have you contacted the Kansas PG around Kansas City, they can normally put together a couple hundred bikes on short notice.

To any who hasn't particapated in Standing the Flag Line for Vets, its well worth it. You'll get warm fuzzies and it makes the families feel good. Even if you don't ride the escorts, Stand The Line.

About this time last year, I was a pallbearer for my nephew's funeral and the Patriot Guard provided an escort. Here are some of the members.
