Loved the book! For anyone who has not read it, if you're reading this message board, you should read this book!

I did speak with a guy that met Cirillo at a class taught by the former New York City PD Stakeout Squad member. He said the class was fantastic and that all the students could listen to Cirillo for days! He was a phenomenal story teller and extremely knowledgeable when it came to guns and bullets and shootouts.

Here's my review the book: http://www.hendonpub.com/resources/a...aspx?ID=208331

Met the man down at FLETC in 1981, and had the chance to sit down with him in his office and pick his brain for instructor tips. After a couple of hours we repaired to the range where he showed me his latest toy, a 9mm Devel on a M39 frame. He handed it to me and pointed out a metal torso target diagonally away from us on a 50 yard range (more like 65 yards away from where we stood). I was lucky enough to put a center hit on it. I said, "Nice gun" and handed it back to him.

Quite the guy; great book.

The book I read was "Guns, bullets and gunfights". (I think that was the title). In it he goes into great detail about this.
He mostly used a 4" S&W M10 but also carried a Colt BUG. He started developing his own bullets but I don't think that got very far. This is a very interesting book. I haven't read the one you mention but now I'll have to get it.
Thanks!
Jim
