Default My BK grip adapter

I received my BK grip adapter for my M-27 last week. With the double attachment tangs it fits like a charm and really fills out the magna grips. Total cost $30.00 and five day delivery time.

The owner of BK grips is a forum member, who really stepped up to fill a need when the other grip adapter company went south. I would hope that those of us who have a need try and give give him our business.

I have a couple from the late 70's and they are marked $4.50 on the back of the box.
I see them on ebay for $35 to $65, some used and some new.
Wonder where and how they get them.
I thought Tyler T grip went out of business and back in and have seen complaints on the forum of customers not receiving them.
What gives?

I think Tyler-T went through a rough patch when their founder died and the kids proved incompetent, but that there is a new owner now who is running the business responsibly.

I don't have recent direct experience though.

I just visited the Tyler grips site, after doing a search and hearing of some members that have received some, as I thought about ordering a new set or two...

But something struck me as strange...

There is no email or phone/fax number listed- neither is there a physical address either.

The only way to contact them is by postal service???
Even if it's back on track to making stuff again, why so secretive? All businesses have a phone number, unless they're in Alaskan back country.

I find it odd that they won't take a debit card. In the day and age of technology when cash is all but obsolete, you would think they would at least have the capacity to conduct business that way.

I would like a T grip for my 22-4 so that I can put my magna stocks back on. I like the thought of having aluminum better than a plastic adaptor like the BK adaptor, not that there is anything wrong with it, its just not for me. Has anybody gotten a T grip in the recent past (1 - 2 months)? I live in the OKC metro and would be willing to drive to the point of manufacture to pick mine up.

Any responses would be great.

I'm too big a fan of BK's to go searching for Tylers ever again.

This was BK's early attempt at a simulated ivory tone:

Bob, if you ever decide to part with that adapter, please let me know. I tried to get one colored that way but was late to the party. I need one to match these old Tyler grips I collect:

Until they make themselves available to their customers, I'll hold off doing business with the new guy. The last bunch left a ready bad taste in my mouth. Out of the 6 grips that finally got delivered nearly a year late, I still had to grind out two of them for a perfect fit.

There is no way in HELL I would ever order another Tyler T-grip again.I waited about 7 months for mine after I filed a complaint with the OK. att.generals office. It would be buyer beware
