Red face 46 degrees and the Chinook winds are here.........

-15 degrees a few weeks ago and now the Chinooks have blasted in and we are melting down overnight. 46 degrees here today and the wind was howling. All small branches and loose items are migrating with the gusts. We expect this in January, but WOW, this is a bit early. A few bears may even be awakened by the storm. When the temps drop again it will be a full-on skating rink with every unauthorized stunt driver out trying to show their prowess behind the wheel. Should be great fun............. Hmm, yep, insurance premium is paid.

We had them last week here in central MT. Up to 75 mph. Blew over my 3/8" steel IPSC sillhouette target. So I guess if my target is down...we had 70+ mph winds.

3 degs this morning but warming up this week to the 30's.
