Default Eye Candy

Some nice, engavd Smiths at the National Firearms Museum. The picures are not good; taken through the glass cases with ambient lighting and plenty of reflections.

Question

Very nice!

Now for a rookie question; What is the rectangular box beneath the barrel tip on the model 52?

Nice pictures of great guns. I think the rectangular piece is a barrel weight as seen in this thread.

model 52 barrel weights

The National Firearms Museum is a great place. I visited this year on the way to Tenn, Wild Boar Hunting. There is a lot to see and go in this area. The only two places that equal this place is the Springfield Armory or the Buffalo Bill firearms museum in Cody, Wyoming.

As hsgun says, it's a barrel weight. I have one for my 52; neither the gun nor the weight is as pretty as the ones in these pix.

Oh it's gun eye candy. I was thinking it had to be about the Julianna ads.
