When answering a PM do you guys make reply in original message window or do you put in new window? I had a gentleman say I did not reply am I doing something wrong.

Normally I reply to the original PM. Keeps the whole conversation in one place.

If you saved a copy of your reply in your sent folder, you can always forward it to him to prove that you did reply. If not, then you should set your preferences to automatically save a copy.

Go to USER CP then select EDIT OPTIONS in the left column. Scroll down and check the box next to where it says to automatically save a copy in your sent folder. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click SAVE CHANGES and you're done.

I went back to sent items file and it was not there I guess I messed something up clearing mail box anyway I sent apologies . Thanks for your help I learn something every day on this computer maybe in a hundred years or so I'll get it right. Thanks

Et tu, Brute? I had a similar issue this week. You might want to check that thread, but I think they got it sorted out here.

The biggie is that you have to scroll down well under the space to reply and check the box there to save messages. It doesn't happen automatically on this board.

And one fellow PM'd me that Saved messages count against your allowed total.
