My number 2 daughter, who lives in El Paso, recently found this framed picture in an antique shop there. Now she knows that I'm a great fan of Johnny and Elvis; I used to play guitar in college, and I loved to do numbers that each of them had made famous. Elvis got started when I was in high school, and I began to appreciate Johnny's simple style and deep rough baritone renditions when I was in college. She gave me this picture, which now hangs in a hallway in our home. I've never seen it before; it shows both Cash and Presley when they were just getting started in their careers, probably when they both recorded at Sun Studios.
