My wife's family was in a shoot out
John Richardson is my wife's first cousin. His wife, Pam, was a real sweetheart and John is one of the finest people I've ever met. Thankfully he was armed or this would have no doubt have been much worse than it is.
Our hearts are broken because of the senseless death of this fine, fine woman.
John's brother tells us that John will fully recover from his bullet wounds. I can't imagine how he feels though.
This happened in Palm City, Florida.

Terrible news, and tragedy, I'm very sorry for your loss. I pray that John recovers fully from this, it will be a long road for him. Coping with the murder of a loved one is a very challenging, life long, experience. Again my prayers are with you all.

That was a tragedy. My condolences to the entire family. It doesn't list what medications were involved, but I pray they are looked at to ensure this never happens again.

Words fail me.
Try as we might, sometimes there is simply no good explanation.
I pray peace upon you all.

We visited a VERY sick friend, Harry, last Saturday. He'd just got home after a stay in the hospital after a heart attack.
He'd been a 260 pound MAN since high school in the '70s but in the last 6 months or so he's down to maybe 120.
Harry said, "Ya just never know when your next heart beat will be your last."
Pam's senseless death really brings that home.
I mean, heck, her health was great and she wasn't a cop or a fireman or anything else dangerous, she was just helping her sister move.
You really don't ever know.....

Sincere condolences to you and your family. Not to be flip, but it was sort of unnerving to read that someone with the same name as me was involved in a shooting. John

I can't imagine losing my wife, to lose her to senseless violence would be devastating. That wound may never heal completely.

Such a senseless tragedy. Sorry for you loss. Just goes to prove that you never know when carrying a firearm may save your life. It doesn't always happen in the bad part of town after dark.
