lucky rabbits foot
Is there such a thing as a lucky rabbits foot anymore? I used to have a few back in the old days. Hell, I even made a dozen or two when i butchered my rabbits. My grand kids never heard of a lucky rabbits foot. I guess it's just as well.

They can still be found, but as the saying goes, "it wasn't to lucky for the rabbit".

I had a couple given to me when I was a kid. Never really understood how dead animal parts brought good luck. And those on the auction site were from some mighty odd colored rabbits!

Have you guys ever heard of "lucky stones? They are found in a rough fish called sheephead`s. They look like a flint stone with the letter "L" engraved it it. They are in the head of the fish. We used to stomp the head, get the stone and carry it around when I was a kid.

I ain't never heard of a lucky stone either. I do have a lucky rabbits foot on my key chain that my nephew gave me right before he was arrested for receiving stolen property and sent to prison. Maybe he should have kept it for himself?
When I was a littler kid, my buddies and I used to carry buckeyes around in our pockets for good luck or for some other reason I have forgotten.
My rabbits foot on my key chain has very sharp claws, or toe nails, and will poke you good if you're not careful.
Peace,
gordon

Never heard of the lucky stone. I did have a friend who took me out walleye fishing on Lake Erie a few times though, and we caught a few sheephead. It took me a bit to figure out the real name was "sheep" head, and not, well, you know.

I thought this was Really Weird cause Drum [fish] have THE SAME STONES - Turns out that we have different names for the same fish
According to Wikipedia the world record came out of Tennessee and weighed 54 pounds 8 ounces. I've caught some around 10 pounds in the Tennessee River and they are real fighters! I couldn't imagine dealing with one that weighed 50
