I wouldn't worry too much about the 30 years-that's a long time and effectively is for life anyway. Where does BOP send them in your area? Sounds like he might wind up in Colorado next to the Super Max

I still don't understand the *Plea Agreements* though.
You plead guilty - MAYBE you get the minimum, in this case 30 years. NOT 1/3 of the min and the opportunity for parole after 1/3 of that.

Like the old joke:
*Don't worry - With 3 Life sentences there's no way he'll be out before Christmas.*

My dad always had a theory on how to deal with a convicted rapist. It would involve nails, a rusty knife and an old shed that would be set on fire after nailing two parts of his anatomy to the roof. He would then get to choose his punishment.
