Default 44 Cal. Ace black powder pistol load?
I picked up a 44 Cal. CMC Ace boot pistol at an Estate Sale today. Looks to have never been fired, complete with walnut display stand, all for $25.00!!! Wonder what a proper load or powder would be? 3F or 4F or Pirodex? It has a 4 inch non rifled barrel. Thanks!!

FFFg, 15 to 20 grains. Now what size ball or patch I can't help you with as it depends on the exact bore diameter.
