92 Jeep Wrangler, but I don't drive it to work, as I retired in
'10. It's got a 4 cylinder and 5 speed and gets between 20 and 21 MPG.
Love it in the summer, but it's a little cold in winter time. Very dependable little Jeep.
That first picture is from last winter. We ain't hardly had enough snow this winter, to track a rabbit!

This has been my daily driver for almost four years, but, hopefully not much longer. This baby pays off in November, and I really want a Crown Vic or a small cheap truck to replace it's daily driver status. This Mustang is going NOWHERE except my Dad's garage, so I can keep miles and dirt off of it. It's been a great car; 2005 model with 54,000 two owner miles. These cars are tough, reliable, and practical for just me and my girlfriend. They are built like tanks and run forever, IF NOT ABUSED. I drive it hard and fast sometimes, but they are built for it, just not made for abuse. I love this thing; it gets 25 mpg on the highway with 3.55 gears, has a great sound with Pypes Bomb axleback mufflers, which are little more than straight pipes with baffles, and has a cool retro chrome Hurst shifter with white ball to grab onto between hearing those bellowing pipes.

Here's one you don't see very often..........this is my 2007 Mazda 5 Touring Wagon, bought to replace a Nissan Sentra I spent ten years wrestling rifle cases in and out of. The rear hatch goes up like it should, to offer refuge from sun and rain. It seats 6+, but with the rear seats both folded down, it's perfect for a bunch of gun gear and rifle cases. BOTH side doors slide back, instead of folding out, so getting stuff in and out of it is a breeze!

As I am not allowed to drive over here per company policy so I have a driver that wheels me around in a Toyota Prado. Nice little rig. When I am home my daily driver is a 2008 Chevy 4x4 P/U.

How true. My '05 Mercury Mariner just turned 14,000, and my '10 Lincoln MKZ has a whopping 800 miles. What's the old song, "Don't Get Around Much Anymore"?

What I drive to work each day is also what I drive home from work each day. And everywhere else. We have 2002 GMC Envoy that is in very nice shape and a pleasure to drive. Not the best gas millage but we got a great deal on it. And, it has room for lots of guns in back.

My take-home work rig is an 09 Tahoe with tint so dark I have to roll down the windows to change lanes. You guys pay for the gas for that one.
My at home ride is this 2010 Prius. I love this little car. I have two kids in college - one is 650 miles north, the other is 250 miles south. I average about 48 miles per gallon, but on my most recent trip south I was living right and got 58.7. At the time gas was 2.97 a gallon so that trip cost me a whopping 12 bucks.

Keep it as a beater work vehicle, assuming you ever do anything requiring a pickup bed. Insurance and tags can't be that much.

2005 Mercury Mountaineer - 114,000+ great vehicle. Too bad Ford decided to end the line but it is understood why they did what they did.

BMW R1200GS unless I take my son somewhere, then it's a well cared for 2001 Lexus ES300. Love the bike and the car.
Lexus has been flawless. I can't justify spending 40grand on a new one, because this one is still great. Oil, gas, oil, gas, oil, gas, tires, oil, gas... I do all of the prescribed maintenance on schedule, no exceptions.

Here's my '97 Jeep TJ. Had it since new and has 150+K miles on it. Been fooling around with it for years. Ummm. . . the front axle is still original -- kind-of. 4.56 gears and Truetrac diffs front and in the rear Ford 8.8. T-case is a JBConversions with heavy duty gears and chain. It has the optional V-8 -- 5.7 Hemi and 545RFE 5 speed auto. Optional right out of a '04 Dodge Ram 250. Gets 17 - 18 mpg and does 0 to 60 really quick! Oh, it is also now a beautiful Ford Windvail Blue.
You wouldn't believe the pile of rocks I drove it through a couple of weekends ago back in the old iron mines outside of town.

sle
shoe leather express
except it's probably vibram soles nowadays.....
yep....wife and i both walk to work together and
back home for lunch and then back to work
it is about a mile each way
2 toyotas sit in the driveway all week
(probably should get rid of one)
we used to drive both cars and one day it
dawned on us that we were more pissed looking
for parking, shoveling snow and all that stuff
when we could just as easily be walking
it is easier to buy shoes than it is to buy gas
btw, some very nice rigs pictured in this thread

2001 Mercury Grand Marquis LS with 109,000 miles. Gas mileage isn't so great, the 3.55 rear doesn't help. But it's comfortable, reliable and I can peel out at will, the 3.55 rear helps a lot. I finally have the money to buy a new car but I don't want to get rid of my big Merc. Decisions, decisions...

2007 F-350 6.0L Turbodiesel Dually is my daily driver.
My daughter has a Chrome Yellow 2006 Mustang GT with a bunch of go-fast suspension work and stuff. It is her garage queen, but I drive it about once a week in the summer. We call it the Blue-Light Special 'cause it seems to attract them for some reason...

Had this ol' '90 Cherokee for about 20 years now. ~240k and she's been a good one.
The poorly-done Chrysler paint job was eventually covered with a cheap Maaco paint job, and then another.
Latest covering is O.D.-color Raptor bedliner.

Mine's an 02 Ford F150 standard cab, short bed 4X4 108,000 on it. Wifes is an 01 Dodge Grand Caravan with only 65,000. It got a new oxygen sensor and stabalizer bushings today. Both have been maintained and so for have been worth fixing instead of replacing.

Now thats a wise decision! A fine car, and that $13,000 will go up, be a fine investment. Think about it. You could buy a new $35,000 car and 10 years from now it would bring what? This one will climb in value.

That Road Runner is cool; don't see enough of that vintage. Most people don't even know they still made them then, but Plymouth made one body style or another plumb up through '79, I believe.

My daily driver is 1968 chevelle malibu, 2 door sports coupe,
It was purchased new by my wife's aunt, she drove it daily for 10 years. My wife and I were desperately in need of a car then , 1978 been married 5 years ( no money of course ) she graciously gave us the car . With the stipulation that I take good care of her favorite car.
I have been driving it ever since ... every day, rain or shine. It's part of the family now , I don't think I could ever sell her. And I have been taking good care of the car, am trying to wrap up a extensive restoration now, but the more you do the more you find needs doing so it seems this is going to be a never ending project.

My second White F-150 SCab with a Leer Shell over the last 14 years. This one is an 06 with the 5.4L. I couldn't find a pic without our trailer hooked up but absent the trailer it makes for a very nice daily driver.

Driving a Cherokee as well, a 1995 Country with 229K. Dead deer are frequent passengers in the back. The most serious repair was an alternator. XJs are anvils!
