Default Gun Shops in Mobile and Baldwin County

My son is moving down that way and he's already told me he wants to get a gun or two and learn how to use them. He lives in New Jersey now, so enough said.

I expect that I'll be going down to visit him and would like to know of any good shops that we can visit so we can look over the selection.

Thanks.

Quint's on 158west, just north of Mobile, good people. McCoy Outdoors, I think they are on Springhill or Dauphin St., off I-65. and Eddie's Pawn on Hwy. 90 W at Tillman's Corner usually has a good selection of guns. Mobile Shooting Center, Airport Blvd, also good. All these are in Mobile County.

Thanks. I don't know exactly when I'll get down there to visit, but I'll check these out.

Frequent gun shows at the Fairgrounds and Abba Shrine Club. Both are on or near Schillenger Rd. There's a couple of shops/ranges in that area also. Not far away a several decent Florida panhandle shows plus the shows in Gulfport, Biloxi, and Hattiesburg (2/11/12/12) less than 100 miles from Mobile. Mobile Press Register newspaper has a few bargains pop up in the classified from time to time. Go a few extra miles to the Alabama Gun Collectors Association shows in Birmingham for some really good stuff....and of course national championship football for when you ain't doing gun stuff.
