Default A fine day to go to the range

Called my cousin this morning and said,"let's go to the range". He agreed, so we met at the club at 1:00PM and spent two hours on the rifle range, having a good old time. Temp. was about 41 degrees and sunny.

I took my match M1A I built using USGI parts on a Springfiled Armory receiver I bought at Camp Perry many years ago. Every once in a while I think about selling it as I don't shoot it very often, but once again, after shooting it today, I see why I should keep it.

It's funny though as my match loads using Sierra 168 grain HPBT match bullets, match cases, and IMR 4895 did not shoot nearly as well my surplus 7.62X51 ammo did. I have a USGI SA chromed lined barrel on the gun too.
