Default Spring Ahead??????

I woke up this morning, looked at my clock, got dressed, checked in here and found it was 5AM nor 6AM. My new clock decided to Spring ahead. I am not sure when the time does change, but my clock thought it was today.

When I got to the gym, it was pretty empty.

The first day I went to work as a lockheed burbank guard in 1965 I was a hour late as they had went to daylight saveings time. Exactly 4 years later I transferred to palmdale lockheed. Again it was the time change and again I was a hour late!

Antiquated, outdated, anachronistic, and useless in the 21st century.

But thanks for the heads-up!

Slow day so I just wrote a letter to the Governor. I'm certain it'll be fixed in no time!

I just don't understand this work and time thing you people are so fascinated with. Its much better to just get up when the urge moves you and to go to sleep whenever it happens. I just awoke from my first afternoon nap. It was a conspiracy, the phone rang and there was a knock at the door, right at the same time. Moving the clock around seems just like a nasty joke to confuse us. While we're at it, I dislike the season change, too. Why all this changing when the sun comes up? Seems it would be much easier to just have fairly constant temps year round. Well, at least if they were comfortable.

We're moving that way now. We haven't had a winter to speak of, and its raining again today. While we're at it, I'd guess we'd be better off it all rain were forced to occur in the middle of the night. Then we could have sunny days. I blame it all on the politicians, fouling things up to keep us off guard. Now I wonder if Lee will lock down this thread because its become too political.

Maybe I'll just take a nap again.

For some strange reason my body clock just seems to operate better during Daylight Savings Time. Plus, I can start grilling out now since it doesn't get dark until later.

Evidently the whole State of Arizona.
We don't play clock games here.
I guess they figured we really don't need another hour of daylight during those 110 degree Summer days.

The extra hour of sunshine is causing global warming.

I don't know about their stupid rules. If I'm walkin in the woods and see a snake, I spring backwards. Springing forward would get you bit. And when I've had a few adult beverages, I don't fall backward, I fall forward (as in on my face.) Keep all that in mind when you change your clocks. Whenever it is they want you to do it. I'm never up at 1:00 or 2:00 in the morning, I'm sound asleep.

Oh great! time to run around the house setting all the manual wind chime and strike clocks ahead an hour. Not so bad.

However, it's a pain in the fall! Either have to set them all ahead 11 hours which involves moving the hands forward and waiting for the chime and/or strike to finish then move forward another 1/4, 1/2 or hour, or just stop them all for 1 hour. Of course with that plan, I realize hours later that I forgot to start them again, and have to do the move forward anyway!

It happened again last night. My clock is changing itself. I reset it yesterday and this morning it had changed to one hour ahead again. Maybe I better check the manual today.
