Default Pawn Shop finds

I ran across one of my really wanted guns, a 19 Nickel that has been fired at most 2 cylinders full and a couple of shooters, a 3906 and a 910S. The autos are nothing special, but I love the 3rd Gens. I am thrilled to get the 19-4, especially with the factory Rosewood grips.

Great find! I don't see too many nickel revolvers around any more!

Love the 19-4,but sorry to tell you that I'm pretty sure that those grips not factory. At least, not correct for a 19-4. Nice grips nevertheless. Congrats on a nice day at the pawnshop!

Thank you.

I'm not an older revolver expert, I'm working on it though..lol. They are factory grips, but as to whether the Rosewood Combats were original to the 19-4, you've got me. Any info someone has would be great.

Most of the 19-4's I've seen have target grips. Doesn't mean there wasn't a custom order though. The only way to be sure of what came on the gun is either the original box or a letter from the factory.

I'll have to do the letter, the gun came sans box unfortunately.

Those are very nice. I have a soft spot for the nickle 19's
It's what i cut my teeth on as a teenager and why i'm deaf
to this day. Full house .357 loads with no hearing protection
