Default Things could be worse.

I'm going to have cataract surgery this month. Even with insurance it's going to be a heavy hit.
But it was all placed in perspective today.
I was walking through the camera dept at Walmart. As I came around a cardboard display,I saw what I thought was a large , white stuffed bunny.
I was wrong!
For there, sitting on a stool, was a man in his 50s. Dressed in an Easter Bunny costume with a Walmart name tag hanging around his neck. He was blankly staring at one of the big screen TVs mounted on the wall.
He never saw me. I backed up and quietly walked away.
The look of dejection, resignation, and despair on that poor souls face will follow me to the end of my days.
As I walked back through the store, I found I was feeling better of my lot.
For I found that things could be A LOT WORSE!

You will be totally amazed at the difference after your cataract surgery. Well worth the expense !!!

I have had cataract surgery on both eyes over a 4 year period and can say that it really makes a difference. We don't realize over the years how dim things get until you have it done. It is a walk in the park as far as surgery goes. I didn't use an IV and got to watch all that was done. Pretty neat.

I actually did see you out of the corner of my bunny outfit. I would have wished you "Hoppy Easter" but I was on my break watching Dr. Phil..

An elderly Chinese gentleman went to renew his driver's license. The examiner told him he would have to get glasses before he could pass the eye test & get a new license.

Off to the eye Dr. he went. After checking his sight, the Dr. remarked "I see your problem, you have a cataract."

He replied, "No Dr., I drive a rincon."
