Interesting Fact About Google Toolbar
Just found out while looking for something else that Google Toolbar has a built in app to send your location to sites that you browse thru them. The good part however is , there is a way to disable it. What a wonderful thought that everysite I have ever browsed now has my location.

By location what do you mean? IP address?
The current version of FireFox, the Google Toolbar is not compatible.

I use internet explorer 8 and the google toolbar and I can't find the little wrench symbol anywhere that you talk about. Am I missing something?

A good program to have:
Do Not Track Plus from Abine.com
It's free and you'll be surprised how many web sites put in tracking thingeee's.

Thanks Pilgrim. I too use Firefox. JFYI---nothing, NOTHING on a computer is safe, secret, or not out there for the world to see.

In Windows 7, you can click on Tools...Manage add-ons
You get a list of all the IE add-ons installed, and you can disable or enable each one as often as you want.

Google changed their "user" agreement a couple months ago. If you use Google now you have officially agreed to them selling your info to the highest bidder. Clearing your history may result in loss of saved passwords and "cookies". Google toolbar doesn't integrate into Firefox since about six updates ago. I still believe Firefox is more secure than IE.
