When ever you place an online order the funds are ripped from your bank account in a Zapped second. However, if you return something it can take weeks AFTER they receive the return before the money gets credited back to your account. Just rips me.

I always use a credit card. The due date is always between the 14th and 16th of the month. For small purchases it's not a problem. If I purchase a firearm, or anything major, I wait (if possible) until just after that months closing, then place my order. That gives me 5 weeks before I'll even see a bill and a couple of weeks beyond that to pay. Plenty of time to resolve any disputes. I try and stay with major companies and have never had a problem. Just don't wait to deal with a complaint and read their return policies carefully. And keep receipts and all paperwork, don't throw anything out.
