That one's easy. I bought my k-38 used in '68 at a Kentucky gun show and still have it. It must have consumed 300 pounds worth of cast bullets since then. Accuracy remains outstanding. One inch 25 yard groups are still the norm.

Only one? Very hard. I impulsively would say my S&W 18-3. It is for me the most used, most enjoyed handgun I've ever owned.

I agree that it is really hard to say your favorite one. I have so many favorites for a lot of various reasons. Caliber, aesthetics, size, barrel length, finish, age, accuracy, length of time owned, memorys . . . . I guess if it boils down to it Right Now I would pick my 66 F-Comp.

Best Wishes,
Tom

My newest purchase just happened to turn out to be my favorite shooter. It's my M&P22. For pure shooting pleasure, it takes top honors. The rest are all great guns, I wouldn't get rid of them, but the .22 is just pure fun.

A model 68 Winchester single shot bolt action 22 with a peep sight. It has been with me all my life. It belonged to my Dad and was part of growing up for me and my brother. It started my love for guns and shooting. Like me it is growing old.

Favorite as in most sentimental would be my grandfather's .22. Favorite as in the one I shoot most is my M&P15-22. Favorite as in the last one to go if I had to sell them would be my Series 80 stainless Combat Commander (Grandfather's .22 would never be sold.)

Mine is a 1947 manufactured Winchester 42 I bought in 2005. A friend of mine tried to give it to me as his way of saying thank you for helping close down/liquidate his business assets after he retired. He had bought the shotgun new in 1948 after having spent the previous few years serving in the ETO. I insisted on paying him a fair price, $1200. We argued over the price for a while, me wanting to pay him and he not wanting to be paid. Long story short, I paid him the $1200. I had the last word, I thought. Three years later my friend died. The executor of Bob's estate sent me a check for $1200. I guess Bob had the last word afterall.

Whatever S&W I'm carrying at a given time is my favorite. Usually a J-frame, sometimes a K/L snub.

Like choosing between my children!

Probably close between the M-66-3 four-inch and the M-60-4 full-lug .38.

But the GP-100 is in the running, and the most durable, especially if .357 ammo is fired a lot. Mine has a smoother, lighter action than most Rugers and is a wonderful thing to have.

Hmmmm. Favorite would be the one I take to the range that day....But I will back up and say the firearm that was mine to start with and one that I will never sell.
1975 Winchester Model 94 30-30

This rifle took the only Trophy to date. More than that, that Trophy Buck was the proudest moment for my Grandfather and Father of me and neither are no longer with me today.

Mine are my favorites for sentimental reasons. One is a Colt 1911 Combat Elite which my wife gave me for our 25th anniversary. The second is a Browning Citori White Lightning that my wife and boys gave me for my 50th birthday.

For coolness, the S&W's are hard to beat, though.

Only one?! Well I guess it would have to be the one that I carry everyday when I'm home. And currently that is a SW99 in .40! Highly underrated yet dependable, accurate, and my one and only .40.
If I may though; my model 60 no dash and 5946, are always at the ready too! Dale

Gonna be which ever one I'm shooting at the time. Currently it will most likely be a Glock 17 or a S&W Mod.19-6. Those are what I train with the most. I'm shooting both of those at least 2 times a week.

This one. For 16 years long my friend. Takes a couple of thousand .45 colt rounds either blackpowder or nitro. Gives me several first, second and thirt places. Have to replace some parts becouse the worn out. Buth still works great. And that for a Uberti Schofield.

Default Favorite Auto and Favorite Revolver

My favorite auto is a Dan Wesson Combat Commander, and my favorite revolver (and everyday carry) is a 438 S&W. Two very different guns, but I love them both.

+1, usually. However if I give it serious thought it'd have to be the PM9 that I've carried as my off duty and bug for more than ten years.

Default My favorite

My first M17-had it in layaway, 1974-I was working thru college and would occasionally pay a dollar or two on it- My girl paid it off for Xmas-and while walking in the parking lot a guy backed in to her and she dropped the gun! Banged up the sights-SW put new sights on it for nothing-and I married her-36 years and 10 M17s ago.

My 1903A3 that my Dad bought in 1961 through NRA. He picked it out himself, since he worked in supply at Red River Arsenal. It has the RRA cartouche on the stock. In a handgun, My 25-2 that was my first S&W, or maybe my 38-44 Ourdoorsman. Man, my Model 629 is really slick.....oh forget it.

All of my revolvers are my favorite in one way or another, but if I had to pick one (1) it would be my M 27-2 6” as it was a gift from my wife who has no interest in firearms of any sort. This was a very generous gift from someone special who knew how much I wanted an M-27.

If by "favorite", you mean which do I enjoy shooting the most, it would have to be my 5 screw model 1955. If, on the other hand, you mean which means the most to me, it would have to be a Winchester model 62 that was my grandfather's.

The 62 was a gift from my grandmother to my grandfather in 1936. It was the rifle he taught my mother to shoot with and the one he taught me to shoot with. If I had to, I could replace all my other guns but I could never replace that one.

I have my sentimental favorites such as the guns I got from my Dad, and I have some really expensive guns, and some big ones, but the one I like to shoot the most - at the moment - is my fairly new M&P 15-22 Performance Center.

It's just fun, fun, fun!

A Western Auto Revelation .22lr. You might not remember but most Auto Supply, and Hardware's sold guns.
Sears, Western Auto, and a high # of others bought from the popular makers, with there brand name.

Mine is a Marlin model 60, 21" barrel, 19 shot tube fed, .22lr.
Got it a twelve years old. I still love it and shoot it some. If I have a Grandson, he will get it some day.

In long guns, it would be the Winchester 1894 rifle, built in 1896, in 30-30 that my Uncle gave me when I turned old enough to deer hunt. In handguns, I think that it has to be either my 1911 (not A1) or my Model 19-2.

My favorite gun is my Sears & Roebuck Ranger .22 rifle in .22 S-L-LR. 6 shot clip bolt action. I have killed many deer with it since getting it in 1959 for Christmas. It doesn't get shot a lot anymore but it is as accurate as ever.
My favorite handgun has to be my little M37 airweight 1968 model. It is carried everyday and shoots 158 grain LRN very well.
Peace,
gordon
