Hmmm... a sort of pop-up title in French says that they're Chinese, not Japanese.
Either way, they have a remarkable sense of balance.

I wasn't terribly impressed, as every one of the cups was empty --- were you to visit here at a typical Sunday brunch, you'd watch omelet ingredients being mixed similarly, although, our vaulted ceilings are lower, and require shorter unicycles...

Don't know about that, but I saw a group "mountain biking" on shorter versions of those things in Moab, UT.
