Default "Pocket Gun" Journey Has Halted HERE

Colt D frames, Smith J frames, Taurus Slims, LC9's, etc, etc.

Both LC9's (mine and the Mrs) unceremoniously dropped mag's mid string, so they got sold pronto.

MrsDoc now totes a Kahr CW9 (she has a little more room with purse carry) while my SmartCarry hides a CM9.

Yet to find anything I don't like:

well made
well designed
compact
narrow
excellent trigger and action
accurate
cycles dependably
relatively inexpensive
9mm caliber
simple and durable

I am still breaking in a CW45 at 230 rounds. It has taken to dropping the mag of late. Apparently the polymer mag catch has been replaced by a steel one and one is enroute. I expect that this, with some possible minor tweaking, is fixable.

Otherwise the gun is very impressive--especially for the caliber. The trigger is EXCELLENT, sights very good, and accuracy outstanding, whether at speed or in slow fire. It's quite the little howitzer.

Except for the caliber, that pretty much sums up my 442...

Didn't you mean "440" since it's two rounds shorter?

I purchased a CW40 last month and it started dropping the mag after about the third magazine. I e-mailed Kahr and they said it was likely the mag follower or mag release and offered to either send an RMA label or the parts, I opted for the parts. 9 days later the parts arrived and that seems to have fixed the problem. So far I've had no FTF and it has not jammed even when deliberately limp wristing.
