Default Auction for the Forum: Roper Books & Letters

Auction Ends at 5 pm Eastern time, on Saturday, 5-26.

I am about to turn over several items in my collection on the sale thread here and I just don't feel good about not contributing to the forum in any fiscal way since coming here. I do really enjoy this place and that's for sure! So I am going to post an auction of sorts here that will go directly to Lee and the forum.

I have two hardback books by the Master himself...Walter F. Roper.
First is Pistol and Revolver Shooting copyrighted 1945 and the second is Experiments of a Handgunner from 1949.
I also have copies of two letters written by him when he was with Smith & Wesson.

Unfortunately I have no photos of said books but they are both in very good condition although the paper cover is missing on the latter and ripped in half on the former. The letters are in plastic covers and in excellent condition.

I gave $60 for these books / letters from another forum member and thought they were well worth it, so I will start the bidding there...$60 delivered.

Hopefully this works as planned since I have never done it before.

Thanks guys!

Last Chance Back to top.
Both books are excellent references for the handgunner and somewhat hard to find. I've had both for many years.
