Default I got some trigger time in today

I drove to the Dirty John Firing Range outside of Franklin, NC around noon and shot my Glock 22 and new to me Glock 19 and S&W 3953. The DAO trigger of the 3953 was not kind to me. My 5946 has the same trigger system but that is a much heavier gun. I will need more time with the 3953 to tighten my groups. I was scattering shots into a hand size group at fifteen yards.

I did much better with the Glock 19 but then I have spent a lot of time with my other 19 and two 26's.

I have never shot anything in .40 S&W very well but hit good with the Glock 22 by simply taking my time.

I tried all three guns left handed as well. The results were plain terrible. I do not believe I could commit suicide with my left hand.

I sympathize with you about shooting left handed; it's difficult. A few years ago, shortly after Texas got its CCW law, people began holding concealed carry matches; 'practical pistol' matches for short, light weapons ( I shot a Glock 19). The course of fire was different each time, and there was usually a weak handed string. I practiced a little dry fire left handed before each match, and was amazed at the difference: I sure wasn't good, but I was very dangerous to approach with a knife.

Spend enough time practicing and you'll find shooting weak hand is more mental than anything else. In slow fire there are days when I shoot better left handed than right because the vision in my left eye is better. Yeah, I switch eyes when I change hands.
