Default Anyone Use GunsAmerica

Hello All,
Quick question that I was wondering if anyone could answer. I am selling a gun (rifle) on gunsamerica. When I ship to the buyers FFL, do I need to fill out any sort of transfer form?...or do I just send it off and they take care of all paperwork. Do I need to send any paperwork when I send the weapon...I would have posted this on another forum but I am a SW guy and have gotten fast and great answers before...
Thanks All,
Winston

Laws may vary from state to state but it was quite simple when I did it. After verifying the FFL holder as legitimate I shipped the gun insured to the address with the buyers name, address, phone#, etc. along with the same info from me as the seller.
These are not step by step instructions since your state may require other procedures.
I have been told many FFL holders will no longer accept guns from private sellers. Make a few calls to be safe.

I'm pretty sure you need a copy of the FFL's license before you ship them the rifle. You need that for your records.

I also send a bill of sale in the box showing that I sold the rifle to (insert buyer's name and address here) with the rifle's manufacturer, model number and serial number, plus the agreed upon sales price.

I just bought an old Page Lewis made Springfield Jr. off GunsAmerica. My LGS had to send a copy of his FFL to the seller. The seller then sent the rifle to my LGS with a copy of his drivers license. My LGS then logged it in as received from him using his DL and then logged it out to me after I filled out the 4473.
