I've collected the builder's plates from some of the pumps that I have operated. Some of them are thick enough to be made up into belt buckles. The biggest one I have is cast in bronze and came off a WWII Liberty ship deatils horsepower and such. Frank

My father worked for a Caterpillar dealer for almost forty years. He passed in 1994. We have our fair share of Caterpillar "stuff". Back in the 1970's, you had to have a friend who worked for them or a dealer to get anything with the CAT logo.

I dont have a picture to put up, but one of my best buckles is about a mid late 1930s harley davidson buckle a old uncle of mine gave me that he had when he rode in the 30s. Its a brass square buckle with a exact nicely detailed side view harley brass or copper plate rivited to the square back ground plate.
