The last time I went to a convention, I got my pass via mail in advance. You should try NRAweb site.

Get your pass ahead of time so you don't have to stand in line. They are available usually about 30 days prior to the show.

Members get into the exhibition and the meetings for no charge. There is a charge for the lunches dinners breakfasts and the big shindig parts. It is fun.

Take a backpack or a dolly type wheeled deal, Mucho handouts and stuff, you'll be weighted down by the end of the day. Have Fun!

Ditto on the backpack........a suitcase might make more sense! They hand out bags with handles, but not everything you get will fit. In the 3 days of the convention last April in St Louis, I brought home about 60 pounds of stuff, and I turned down a lot more than I picked up.
