I saw it and was shaking my head the whole time. What can that guy do that S&W can't?

It's a J frame with a bobbed hammer and a trigger job. I can't believe they actually made it a performance ctr gun.

I watched it last night. You know, it'll probably be an OK carry gun, but I wouldn't want to associate with that bunch of clowns. The "drama" associated with the visit to S&W ticked me off.

As there was nothing good on I was surfing the channels and came across that also. Seems unbelievable
Like the guy from SW said, we have performance guns and do custom work.
They did say it was a"Prototype"
Heck I can do what he did, not as fast but a decent trigger job and some polishing. I see no reason to bob a hammer when there are shrouded or enclosed versions??
The shoot out at the OK Corral was lame.

I hate snakes, I find them repulsive... but whenever I encounter one, I am unable to take my eyes off of it. That is probably why I find myself watching American Guns and those Bozos at Red Jacket. I know these shows are scripted and staged but I can't believe they got S&W to lower themselves to that level.

I've seen the show once, thought it was awful.Dealt with the store several times before they were famous.Bought a nice little model 60 at a great price.Had them do a few repairs at very reasonable rates. One repair was caused by a brain fart on my part, charged me $30 and didn't laugh. The show and the reality are miles apart ;-)

For those that have been there are the prices as high as shown on TV.?? Maybe it's just prices in Colorado.
Some of the basic SW guns appeared priced well above MSRP also saw one with a SA 1911, let alone what they charge for custom work.
As far as a gun show which perhaps helps the gun industry it certainly is better than the Red Jacket show. He does show how the Gun Smiths work and history of some of the guns. I liked the part about case hardening. JMO
