Do not Buy a Big Gun Safe
Went to a local Gun Show this weekend and found a Mod 27 in 8 3/8. I favor the long barrels so I was happy to get it. Guess what I found in the back of my Gun Safe? Yep, now I have two! Anyone know where I can get a double shoulder rig (seriously)...

A -2 and a -3? Seems like you need some more to complete the series....

Your problem isn't that your safe is to big; it's that it's too small. If it was hiding in the back behind other guns, that means you don't have enough room to spread them out properly.
Since this new gun will only accentuate your "can't see the guns in the back" problem, you'll need to give it away so you can get your itty-bitty safe closed. I'll be happy to give you the name and address of my FFL...

Let's see, there's a Registered Magnum, a Non-Registered Magnum, a 27 no dash, and a -1 left to get. (Good luck finding the dash one.) Did I miss any?
Gonna need to cash in some savings bonds to complete that series.

Did stuff like that myself until I began keeping an emailed copy of my latest "Toy List" on my phone...Gotta have one of THOSE phones to make that work though . Now, I just check the list before every purchase to avoid such unplanned redundancy ...The planned redundancy on the other hand .....

Check with Jim at Fist Inc. He can probably take care of you. They aren't cheap but I have two dresser drawers full of holsters I bought for my various handguns until I found Fist Inc. Top quality leather, craftsmanship and service. Buy it once and you never have to buy it again. Quality isn't expensive, it's priceless.

If I did that, I'd attribute it to my old age.

While I prefer shorter barrels, two of any one fine handgun is a must.

Big safes ROCK!
How do you think I can get away with sneaking in new toys past the wife?
Her: When did you get that one?
Me: Oh, that's been in the back of the safe for a while now, don't you remember when I got it?
(Pro tip, women will NEVER admit they don't remember a conversation)
Her:Ohhh, yeah now I remember you mentioning it.
